Washington, D.C. is known for being a transient city (which it is and isn’t), so it seems reasonable that someone would collect from former residents what they miss the most about the city.

According to NerdWallet’s City Chattr, the number one thing people who used to live in D.C. miss is “suspecting that a friend is part of the CIA.” That is not reasonable, you guys.

Yes, 21 whole people voted for that reason, with 17 agreeing that “DC [freaking] out about 3 inches of snow” and shutting down is a reason to miss this great place many of us call home.

Other reasons given are “navigating tourists on the National Mall,” “the never-ending metro track maintenance. NOT,” “accidentally eating at Ben’s Chili Bowl” and “sneaking drinks into Jazz in the Garden.” It seems that people who used to live in D.C. think they’re really clever.
