If the crisp, cool weather or the sudden reemergence of Mr. Autumn Man wasn’t enough of a reminder, let me reiterate: Summer is over.
But Union Market decided they’re going to extend their very summer-y outdoor drive-in movie series into the fall anyways, because why not? In a press release, the artisanal food market announced they’ll be hosting a fall edition of their wildly popular drive-in movie series, beginning October 4 with a screening of Harold Ramis’ snobs vs. slobs golf comedy classic Caddy Shack, and extending through November 8. Each screening will be tied to a particular theme.
Just like the summer, there will be food vendors floating around during screenings, and the whole thing is free. Gates open for cars at 6 p.m. and the movie starts at 8. There will be a picnic area up front for bikers and walkers, but best to bundle up and bring a blanket.
