BIKES: DC Bike Party is getting in the Halloween spirit tonight with The Riding Dead, a zombie-themed bike ride. Dress up in your best undead gear, meet in the middle of Dupont Circle, lurch and pedal through the city until you end up at the Congressional Cemetery for an after party complete with live performance by the Bumper Jacksons. Meet at 7:30 p.m., the ride starts at 8 p.m. Free.

TALK: Disaster expert Gerald Galloway, from the University of Maryland, discusses disasters and community resilience at the Koshland Science Museum (525 E Street NW) tonight. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets: $10 adults, $7 students (includes light refereshments).

MUSIC: After releasing their critically acclaimed Crooks & Lovers in 2010, English electronic duo Mount Kimbie is back with its sophomore follow-up this year titled Cold Spring Fault Less Youth. The group will be headlining an eclectic bill at the Black Cat. Stone’s Throw MC Jonwayne and Djvan Santos, who performs as electronic producer D33J, open the show. $15-20, 8 p.m. – Andy Hess
