It’s week two of the government shutdown, which means a second week of deals for furloughed government workers. Here are last week’s deals, some of which are still happening. Below are some new ones.

National Geographic Museum “is still offering free admission to federal employees through the government shutdown.”
National Building Museum is “offering free admission to furloughed government employees with ID.”
DO
Off Road Indoor Cycling “will be offering free power vinyasa yoga classes on Saturdays and Mondays. Free Classes are available for both government and non-government employees.”
Capital Yacht Charters “is offering $15 Yacht Cruises on the Potomac. (Includes: 2 drinks, Buffet, Karaoke & Wonderful views of the Potomac.)” Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 12:30 and 3 p.m.
DRINK AND EAT
Urbana: Happy hour goes all night for this whole week (expect for Thursday, when they’re closed for a private event). The price of a margherita pizza is $6 and drops a dollar each day, until it’s $4 on Friday.
Madam’s Organ: “Not only do we feel your pain but we will deaden it!!!!! First beer free and all food 50 percent off to Federal Government Employees. 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. every day until the government reopens.”
Cuba Libre: “#GovernmentShutdown continues. Bring a valid federal govt ID & join us all day til 10 pm for Happy Hour pricing on food & drinks #shutdown”
American Tap Room is offering all day happy hour to all furloughed government employees with a government ID.
The Pig: “Yuengling and a burger for $4”
Range: “Gov’t cheese #free Margarita pizza with your Federal ID.”
Nando’s “is offering happy hour prices all day, all week. The offer is open to everyone in all 14 Nando’s restaurants in and around Washington.”
Bardo: “FREE BEER for furloughed federal workers this week. Bring your fed ID and the first beer is on us.”
Bandolero: “will be continuing its shutdown specials as the shutdown drags on. $6 house margaritas and 2 for $5 taco specials available at the bar.”
