As the Washington football team paused on their way to a devastating loss to the Dallas Cowboys last night, sportscaster Bob Costas took a moment at halftime to speak out against their name.
Naturally, the bold stance from Costas set the Internet ablaze, with tons of people chiming in in support of Costas’ brief speech:

This morning, Costas went on the Dan Patrick Show to defend his remarks and said that, from what he gathered, “any negative reaction comes from an extreme fringe.”
