A collision between a Metro bus and a car in Northeast D.C. sent 14 people to area hospitals this morning.
A Metro spokesperson says at least nine people are “claiming” injuries, all minor and non-life threatening, many of which were non-visible. The incident occurred at Rhode Island Avenue and North Capitol Street NE around 10 a.m. Metro says the car involved ran a red light.
Fourteen patients, including the car’s driver, were transported to area hospitals, D.C. Fire and EMS spokesperson Tim Wilson said. All the injuries were non-life threatening.
