A dead body was found at the Judiciary Square Metro station this afternoon.
According to a WMATA spokesperson, Metro Transit Police and D.C. Fire and EMS received a report of a body behind the parapet wall at Judiciary Square on the Red Line level and Shady Grove side at approximately 2:45 p.m. The person, an adult male believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The MTPD said in a tweet that there is no sign of foul play at this time.
The 4th St entrance of Judiciary Sq is closed. Use F St instead. Rail service is unaffected. At this time, no signs of foul play. #wmata

As of now, the 4th Street entrance of the station is closed due to a police investigation into the matter, but track service on the Red Line is not affected.
WMATA officials could not provide anymore information as an investigation is underway. We’ll update when we know more.
