Last week, a dead body was found at the Judiciary Square Metro station. Now police have identified the deceased as 35-year-old Okiemute Whiteru, an attorney from Southeast D.C. The Post reports:

A Brooklyn, N.Y. man who identified himself as Whiteru’s father said his son was an attorney in the District. He said he was planning on flying to D.C. on Saturday. The man, who would not give his name, declined to talk further.

A Metropolitan Police Department public information officer tells DCist that Whiteru’s death has been ruled a “natural death,” and that the cause is accidental. WMATA spokesperson Dan Stessel says that Whiteru apparently fell off of a wall on the side of the station and fell under the platform level below. MPD has ruled out foul play as a cause of death, and the official cause of death is accidental by blunt force trauma.
