Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence were so struck by Joy Orbison and post-dub-step that the duo started making their own tracks. The brothers settled on the name Disclosure and released the 2010 single “Offline Dexterity” in 2010. The band amassed a large amount of material from singles and EPs leading up to this year’s massive break-out Settle. Honing their skills over the years proved beneficial for the brothers, as Settle is one of the most stunning records of the year. Inspired by both pop radio and house music, Settle is a singles showcase featuring artists like Jessie Ware, AlunaGeorge, and Sam Smith, plus tracks sung by the Lawrence brothers themselves. “F For You,” the record’s fourth designated single is one of the tracks featuring Howard Lawrence on vocals. The bouncy house number is one of the catchiest songs on an overwhelming catchy record. Lawrence’s smooth vocals are every bit as delightful as their collaborators and a pleasant surprise.

Disclosure play tonight with T. Williams at the 9:30 Club. Tickets are Sold-Out.
