DOG COSTUME CONTEST: Humiliate your pup for a good cause! Hotel Monaco and Jackson 20 in Alexandria (480 King Street, Alexandria, Va.) are hosting a Doggie Howl-o-ween Costume Contest to benefit the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. Registration from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. (contest limited to 50 dogs), contest at 6:00 p.m., and winners announced at 7 p.m. $10 registration fee for participants and $10 suggested donation for those who just come for the show.
