In case you didn’t know, it’s National Animal Shelter and Rescue Appreciation Week , and The Pug—H Street’s favorite watering hole [editor’s note: debatable]—is pitching in with a fundraiser for the Washington Humane Society tonight.

The details: From 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. pay $20 at the door and you’ll get unlimited draft beer. All proceeds will go to the Washington Humane Society. There won’t be any animals for adoption there, but you can always visit the Washington Humane Society on New York Avenue if you’re interested in adopting.

What’s that? You’re thinking about adopting, but not quite sure? Then should probably go to The Pug and have a beer or ten to think it over.
