The man who was caught on surveillance video robbing two dudes eating pizza in Logan Circle was sentenced to 40 months in prison today.

James E. Wade, 30, was arrested in June and pleaded guilty in September to armed robbery. Wade was filmed by a security camera at Pizzoli’s Pizzeria casually walking up to two diners then brandishing a gun to rob them of their wallets, cash and one cell phone.

One of the victim’s told the Post, “It’s a good thing we’re relaxed, chill guys. … We could have freaked out and gotten injured, but we were letting it just unfold.”
