For the first year ever, organizers of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival are holding open online auditions to find vocalists to perform during the parade.

To be considered, upload a 30-second video of your vocal skills to YouTube then fill out this form by November 15 at midnight. Up to 20 vocalists and/or groups will be selected to perform in January at the Hard Rock Café in front of celebrity judges, including a man who lost American Idol. Up to four winners will be chosen. “There is no other award,” says the website very gravely.

The Cherry Blossom Festival begins on March 20 and ends on April 13, the day after the parade.
