BICYCLING: Throw on your slickest thrift-store-finds, and bring some clothes to donate, for the DC Bike Party Thrift Shop Re-Cycle ride and party tonight. The wise organizers explain, “the cold months bring shorter rides and longer after parties.” After meeting at Dupont circle and donating some clothing to the Ward 8 Collaborative, participants will take a 6.5 mile bike ride through D.C., ending up at Old Glory in Georgetown for $2 Natty Bohs and other specials. 7 p.m.

PODCAST: Hear Senator Al Franken speak tonight at the launch party of The Good Fight, “a new podcast and radio show mixing comedy, politics, and activism” from former Onion writer Ben Wikler. The event, at 201 Bar (201 Massachusetts Avenue NE), will also offer an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and will feature a number of other guests. 6-9 p.m.

MOVIE: “Shot locally on a microbudget, The Holy Sound is a teens-in-trouble horror film.” See it tonight at a Film Screening and DVD Release event at the Black Cat (1811 14th Street NW). A question and answer session will follow the screening. 8 p.m. $8.
