Popular doughnut caterer District Doughnut will open a shop on Capitol Hill next year. From their website:

Opening in Spring 2014, our shop will serve a rotating assortment of classic and cosmopolitan varieties, meeting nostalgia with sophistication. To complete the classic pairing, we will feature the finest coffee roasts from Caffe Amouri, one of the only small-batch roasters in the DC area.

As Capitol Hill Corner reports, the shop will be located 749 8th Street SE on Barracks Row. Doughnuts will be made from scratch daily by pastry chef Christine Schaefer, according to Young & Hungry. Your move, nearby Dunkin’ Donuts.
