After being given permission not to appear in a D.C. court today, a judge has set singer Chris Brown’s next misdemeanor assault hearing for January 8.
Brown is accused of punching a person outside the W Hotel in late October, as is his bodyguard Christopher Hollosy. The 24-year-old singer did not enter a plea at his first hearing, while Hollosy pleaded not guilty.
According to a D.C. Superior Court record, Brown and Hollosy will next appear in D.C. court on January 8. Brown was ordered by a Los Angeles judge last week to spend 90 days in a rehab facility after he threw a rock through his mother’s car window. He was already in a different anger management facility when this occurred.
