Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. A time to give gratitude for all you’re thankful for, celebrate peace, and devour turkey. And while you’re sitting around the dinner table, stuffing an ungodly amount of food into your, you’ll want to the perfect tunes playing that capture the spirit of Thanksgiving.

Lucky for you, DCist has compiled such a playlist for all your Thanksgiving needs. But this isn’t your typical Thanksgiving playlist. You won’t find the over-played, cliche “Alice’s Restaurant,” or Adam Sandler’s annoying Thanksgiving song. Instead, you’ll find a collection of tunes the embody the themes of Thanksgiving, like gratitude (Tereu Tereu, Boyz II Men, Sly & The Family Stone), peace (Wesley Willis, Joey Ramone), letting go of the past (The Detroit Cobras, Paul Simon), and, uh, eating food and drinking (Crooked Fingers, Dead Kennedys, Ugly Duckling). There’s also some other seemingly weird stuff in there, but trust me, they tie in to the theme of Thanksgiving, somehow (except maybe Weird Al’s “Albuquerque,” which is just my antithesis to “Alice’s Restaurant”).

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving! Here’s the weirdest Thanksgiving playlist you’ll ever hear:
