America will not get four more years of an Obama presidency. But D.C. may get more time with the first family after the president’s second-term ends in 2016.
It will come down to what Sasha wants.
In an interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters, Obama said “Sasha will have a big say in where we are.” Eldest Obama daughter Malia will be in college by then, while Sasha will only be a sophomore at Sidwell Friends.
“So we’ve gotta—you know we gotta make sure that she’s doin’ well… until she goes off to college,” Obama continued, later saying that Sasha and his family has already given up a lot for him: “Cause she’s, you know, obviously they-and Michelle-have made a lot of sacrifices on behalf of my cockamamie ideas, the running for office and things.”
And now for this very good point from statehood activist Josh Burch.
.@BarackObama would go from most powerful man in world to disenfrancised citizen. Would be good story I guess.
