Scandal — scandal, I say! — out of the White House: A toddler fell to the ground this afternoon after an encounter with Sunny Obama during a holiday celebration. The War on Christmas continues.

Video of the moment that will live in infamy shows the Obama family’s new Portuguese Water dog approaching a two-year-old innocent named Ashtyn Gardner. First Lady Michelle Obama yanked on the beast’s leash but it was too late: Ashtyn was on the ground. After rising from the floor, Sunny then licked the face of her victim (who was fine), savoring the moment.

Was Ashtyn knocked over? Did she lose her balance when faced with Sunny’s ferocity? Expect a congressional hearing to follow.
