Last month Art Yards—a massive public installation project that utilized a soon-to-be-razed former NGIA building for visiting artists to do, well, whatever they want to it—kicked off with a big paint-pour over the building.

Since then it has been painted over, turned into a silent disco, and has had numerous murals sprawled in and around it. Now, the whole thing concludes this weekend as consortium 3_Search—a mapping artist—will illuminate the building with a giant video projection. The other murals created by visiting artists over the past month will also be lit.

But what exactly is this video projection? Well, a release states that the exhibition, titled “Illuminated Ops,” will “turn the Southeast face of the former NGIA building into an 8,260 square foot (five-story) canvas for stunning projected images.”

Yeah, that sounds pretty cool.

Not convinced? Check out this video, which gives you a teaser as to what it’ll look like.

The exhibition will feature works by Glowing Bulbs featuring John Ensor Parker, Integrated Visions, and United VJs. The installation will be on a continuous loop from 5:30 p.m. to midnight tonight and tomorrow.
