Tonight, a streetcar will be delivered to H Street NE so testing can begin on the first line of the revived system.
Streetcars ran in D.C. from the late 19th century until the early 1960s, when it was determined they were becoming obsolete thanks to cars and buses. But here were are fifty years later, awaiting their arrival once again.
