The body of an adult male was discovered by police this morning just off the shoulder of the Capital Beltway.

According to a Montgomery County Police public information officer, the body was discovered at approximately 9:45 a.m on the Inner Loop between the Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road exits.

Police still don’t have a cause of death or any leads on how body got there, but they’re investigating it as a “suspicious death at this point” the PIO tells DCist. We’ll update when we learn more.
