Police are currently investigating the discovery of a body at the Anacostia Park Pavilion.

According to a Metropolitan Police Department public information officer, Park Police received a call at approximately 2:54 p.m. yesterday for reports of an unresponsive adult male found in the Anacostia Park Pavilion, at the 1900 block of Anacostia Park Drive.

At this time, a cause of death is not known, and the investigation is ongoing. We’ll update when we learn more.
