File this under “awesome”*: The Pizza Underground, Macaulay Culkin’s pizza-themed Velvet Underground cover band is coming to Black Cat.
The 14th Street venue announced on Twitter that the band will grace the club’s backstage on March 21. Tickets are $15 and will go on sale soon. Price does not include a jumbo slice, presumably.

UPDATE: Tickets go on sale Friday. So, if this is something you might want to go to, make a note. It will probably sell out. DCist editor Sarah Anne Hughes is so excited she’s already lining up to buy tickets.
