The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a possible drug lab in Columbia Heights.

According to an MPD public information officer, police received a call at approximately 2:47 p.m. about suspected drug-making equipment in an apartment on the 1300 block of Clifton Street NW. MPD hasn’t released any details about the investigation, but there is heavy police activity in the area and several roads around 13th and Clifton streets are temporarily closed.
