A D.C. homeowner attempting to take out his recycling was “attacked” by a raccoon Sunday.

WTOP has the story of how Lamar Revis defended himself and his Shepherd Park home against the beast:

“I saw the raccoon walking toward me, and I looked away, and then when I looked back, he was charging me,” Revis says.

Revis fended off the raccoon with the recycling bin, and the animal ran away. Revis was not injured.

The raccoon, who may be sick, is still at large. No doubt he’d be recognizable by the bloodlust in his eyes.
