ART AFTER HOURS: Learn about artist Vincent van Gogh and where he came from at the Phillips After 5 (1600 21st Street NW) Dutch Discoveries event tonight. Rock out with Dutch DJ Marvin Piqué (5:30-8 p.m.), take a beginner’s Dutch language lesson (6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.), watch three short Dutch films (6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.), and hear a talk on van Gogh’s work (every half hour starting at 6 p.m.). 5-8:30 p.m. $12.
