This morning, an Arlington County firetruck found itself stuck in an unfortunate position: A sinkhole.
An ACFD Engine became stuck in a sink hole at !7th Street N & N Huntington Street just after 7 AM. No personnel were injured.

According to the Arlington County Fire Department Public Information Officer, the front right wheel of the fire truck got stuck in a sinkhole near the intersection of 17th St. N. and N. Huntington St. shortly after 7 a.m. this morning. The truck was on its way to check on a reported water main break at 17th St. N & N Harrison St. Nobody was injured and there’s no update on the condition of the truck at this time.
