Hearing the great words of Martin Luther King, Jr. is as simple as a Google search. But seeing them etched and painted around the city? That’s almost as simple, too.

The volunteer project City of Words maps where famous quotes are posted around town. For King, this, naturally, includes the many quotes at the MLK Memorial on the Mall, as well as the mural at the Luther Place Memorial Church in NW and the one at Starburst Plaza at H Street and Benning Road NE.
