BEER: What’s better than doughnuts and beer? How about doughnut-flavored beer? Bluejacket (300 Tingey Street SE) is debuting three new Doughnuts Brews tonight inspired by NRG Pastry Chef Tiffany MacIsaac’s creations. They include: Sticky Situation (a brown ale inspired by a Maple Bourbon Bacon Glazed doughnut), Nu Order (an Imperial brown ale inspired by a Nutella doughnut), and The Dalmatian (a blond Barleywine spiked with cacao nibs and vanilla beans). 6 p.m.

BEER & BALLET: Get a behind-the-scenes peek of The Washington Ballet’s Jazz/Blues Project by watching a rehearsal at their Beer, Ballet, and Bubbly event this evening at the England Studio Theater (3515 Wisconsin Avenue NW). You’ll work up a thirst watching all that dancing, so after the rehearsal stick around for drinks and mingling with the dancers. 6:30 p.m. $30.

TRIVIA: Show off your film knowledge at the Academy Awards Trivia Night at Penn Social (801 E Street NW) tonight with the BYT Movie Team and Nat Geo Live. Trivia winners will receive tickets to National Geographic’s Global Glimpses series, which shows the Academy Awards Foreign Film Nominees. Registration starts at 7 p.m. Trivia goes from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

FILM: The Corcoran’s (500 Seventeenth Street NW) three-part Alex Prager Selects Film Series continues this evening with a screening of The Night of the Hunter. 7 p.m. $5.
