In case you haven’t been following the scandal involving former Va. governor Bob McDonnell and his wife, you’re in luck—Taiwanese news outlet Tomo News has made an educational and informative animation that sums it up pretty accurately.

Basically, McDonnell and his wife were charged yesterday for allegedly illegally accepting gifts from Jonnie R. Williams Sr.— the former CEO of Richmond’s Star Scientific, Inc.—in exchange for special treatment from the government.
