COMEDY: Come out for Comics Against Humanity, “a live comedy show for horrible people” from LYGO DC, at Bier Baron (1523 22nd Street NW, 2nd Floor) tonight. At the event a panel of comedians will play Cards Against Humanity (“with several twists”) and each audience member will receive a white card at the door. $10 (includes two free drinks with advance registration). 8:30-11:59 p.m.

CRAFTS: Make a Valentine for a service member tonight through Sunday at an arts and crafts happy hour at La Tagliatella (2950 Clarendon Boulevard Arlington, Va.). Along with warm and fuzzy feelings you’ll also receive a $5 coupon. 4-8 p.m.

HAPPY HOUR: Raise a glass with monster truck drivers at the Monster Jam happy hour at Penn Social (801 E Street NW) tonight. There will be drink specials, 75 cent wings, and a raffle where you could win tickets to Monster Jam (money raised will be donated to D.C. Central Kitchen). 5-8 p.m.

TECHNOLOGY: Learn “tips, tricks, tactics, methods, and/or insights” from area designers and developers at the DC Tech Meetup: Hacks, Code and Creative event tonight at MLK Library (901 G Street NW). 7-9 p.m.

ART: The Phillips Collection (1600 21st Street NW) is hosting an intimate discussion with famed performance artist Catherine Sullivan, who is known for staging elaborate filmed and live performances that incorporate historical references to address societal structures. She’ll be joined by Klaus Ottmann, the Phillips Collection’s Director of the Center for the Study of Modern Art and Curator at Large.
