Limited number of tickets available at the door.

MUSIC: Rock out to the Underground System’s “club friendly vibe that blends funk MCing, Italian folk, Afrobeat, and much more” on the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage (2700 F Street NW) tonight. 6 p.m. Free.

OPERA: When you think of singing in a bar, karaoke (see above) is more likely to come to mind than Opera. But tonight at the Black Fox Lounge (1723 Connecticut Avenue NW) local opera singers (Elisa Jablow, Kristina Riegle, Melissa Chavez, Ben Pattison, Brody DelBeccaro) will serenade you over pints. This event, titled “Love is in the Air in honor of the impending Valentine’s Day, is put on by Opera on Tap, “a national non-profit organization that breaks down stereotypes about opera by bringing it to bars, clubs, and other non-traditional spaces.” 7-10 p.m. Free.
