OLYMPICS: Mari Vanna (1141 Connecticut Ave NW) will be bringing a taste of Sochi to D.C. for the Winter Olympics. Stop by on tonight from 6-9 p.m. to toast the opening ceremonies with a free shoki during their Olympics happy hour. OH MY GOD!!!!!” That’s just one of the many priceless lines in the cult classic film Troll 2, wherein an unsuspecting family takes a vacation in the town of Nilbog. Little do they know that the town is secretly overrun by blood-thirsty Goblins that turn their prey into vegetables, because they’re vegetarians. No, there are no actual trolls in this movie. ART: To coincide with the new George Clooney movie, Smithsonian’s Archives of American Art is opening a new exhibition entitled “Monuments Men: On the Frontline to Save Europe’s Art, 1942-46.” The exhibition collects “photographs, official records, maps, correspondence and audio interviews that chronicle these extraordinary men’s mission, from the formation of the Civil Conservation Corps in the United States, to locating and recovering major works of art that had been looted by the Nazis.” It runs until April 20 in the Lawrence A. Fleischman Gallery at the Smithsonian’s Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture. All the info here.

ART ENABLES: Have you read DCist editor Sarah Hughes’ excellent profile of Art Enables—the long-running outsider art studio and gallery that gives artists with disabilities a space to create and showcase their art—yet? No? Here, read it. Tomorrow, Art Enables will celebrate their 12 year anniversary with a show featuring the work of self-taught artists with disabilities. “Guests are invited to view new work, enjoy light refreshments, and participate in a free art workshop.” Free, goes from 1 to 4 p.m. Art Enables is located at 2204 Rhode Island Avenue NE.

SO SAY WE ALL: Get off your frakking butt and head down to Black Cat for their Cylon Happy Hour. DC9 ANNIVERSARY: The famed 9th Street venue is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a whole week of concerts. On Sunday, it kicks off with D.C./Philly/Va. Beach post-hardcore band Regents. Also on the bill is former Jawbox/Burning Airplanes frontman J. Robbins, Des Arks, and Title Tracks. Starts at 8 p.m. Tickets here.
