Marion Barry is back in the hospital again.
According to Barry’s spokeswoman, LaToya Foster, the Ward 8 Councilmember and mayor-for-life was admitted to an undisclosed hospital sometime yesterday. She didn’t say why he was admitted or what his condition was, but late last night Barry tweeted that he was “not seriously ill” and that he has a urinary tract infection.
I was not rushed to the hospital. I am not seriously ill. I have a urinary tract infection. I will be back.

Recently, Barry had an extended stay at Howard University Hospital as he was treated for a blood infection. He was released nearly two weeks ago.
Last night, Mayor Vince Gray skipped out on the Ward 3 Democrats forum at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Tenleytown to visit his friend in the hospital.
