Windian owner and all around nice guy Travis Jackson was killed a month ago in a tragic traffic incident. To celebrate his life, the Black Cat is throwing a benefit for the Travis Jackson Memorial Fund featuring Windian punks Thee Lolitas. Thee Lolitas follow in the footsteps of Jackson’s band The Points, being young, loud and in-your-face while also writing catchy tunes. The duo of Jacky Majic and Vlad Dolan kicks up a lot of shit as can be heard on the track “Black and Mild” The grungy call to arms is a fun punk track with a head-banging riff and pounding drums. Dolan’s slacker drawl fits the track perfectly.

Thee Lolitas play tomorrow night with End Crimes, DJ Baby Alcatraz, DJ Mad Squirrel, and DJ Collin at the Black Cat. Tickets are $10, and all proceeds and donations will go to helping Travis’s wife, son, and family.
