PARTY: There’s nothing like a love note. Celebrate “the role that mail plays in bringing us together” at Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Party at the Postal Museum (2 Massachusetts Avenue NE) tonight. Along with drinks and dancing, there will also be stories of missed connections from Story League (begins at 9 p.m.) and a craft station for you to make a Valentine’s card using “using vintage postage, ink stamps, washi tapes, and specialty papers.” 8-11 p.m. $15 in advance, $20 at the door, $35 VIP (which includes a private bar, two drinks, and dessert). (They say the party is still on, despite the weather).

COMEDY: Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night will keep the comedians of the After Class show at the Science Club (1136 19th Street NW) from making you laugh tonight. Come out to see local comedians and hosts David Coulter and Max Rosenblum. 8:30-11 p.m. Free. (100 percent still on, says the Science Club).
