A D.C. Redditor claims he spent his day braving the piles of snow and horrid road conditions buying Taco Bell food items and delivering them for only $5 (though it’s not clear if that’s per taco or per order, or an addition delivery charge). But did he follow through? That’s a mystery at the moment.

The user, JoeCamel420, said he would undertake the deliveries because his car dealership is apparently “full of assholes.” Here’s the original entry, posted last night:

OK redditors, so my dealership is full of assholes who won’t let me get the 50k maintenance on my truck until I rack up another few hundred miles, so I’ll be taking orders starting 10 AM tomorrow and I’ll go anywhere within the DC metro area (except like really far like baltimore or herndon or waldorf or whatever) to deliver Taco Bell right to your door – so no matter how snowed in, drunk, or stoned you are while you’re celebrating the snowday, I’ll make sure you get your tacos. I’m only asking $5 per drive (although I’ll happy to accept additional tips and/or cigarettes). I’ll update tomorrow with a number and a little bit more info. Stay safe tomorrow folks!

DCist has been trying to get in touch with the delivery man all day, but it seems as though he’s been, uh, preoccupied with his taco deliver service. After his original post skyrocketed to the front page of Reddit, he woke to more than a shitload of snow on the ground:

Edit: holy christ I picked the wrong week to quit drinking. All right, There’s like 2 feet feet of snow on the ground so after I dig my truck back out of the snow, I’ll figure out how to handle the logistics of getting these tacos where they need to go.

But it seems as though he got it all figured out. And hopefully the Hyattsville and College Park Taco Bells were able to accommodate his request to “clean out the place for all the tacos they have.” Because that sounds like a lot of tacos.

EDIT: OK EVERYBODYYYYY IM GOING TO GO TO TACO BELL AND literally, I am going to clean out the place for all the tacos they have. I’m going to the Hyattsville taco bell first and I’m literally going to buy every taco I canm and I guess afterwards I’ll open up to PMs, starting with college park I guess. PEACE

But did the mysterious Taco Bell delivery man actually follow through? Will we ever hear from him again? Will he disappear after this storm, only to reemerge again after the next pummeling of snow hits our area?
