George Washington University trusts its students. How much? It will allow them to be a part of the naming process for a new residence hall.

Students, staff, faculty, alumni, parents and “community friends” are invited to participate in the #HistoryLivesHere Residence Hall Naming Contest, which is accepting submissions until February 23 at 11:59 p.m. Here’s what GW wants for the name of the building, located at 2121 H Street NW: “We’re looking for something that highlights the history of the university, the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses and President George Washington himself.”

Suggestions so far include Elizabeth Warren Hall, Cherry Blossom Hall, Hippo House, Kerry Washington, and Glenn Greenwald Hall. Five submissions will move on to the next round, and voting will take place on March 16. Fingers crossed for Kerry Washington.
