Cory Booker, U.S. Senator, rescuer of cold dogs and fixer of traffic lights, can now be counted as a D.C. statehood supporter.

The New Jersey politician tweeted his support after statehood activist Josh Burch lamented, ” One of these days we’ll get Cory Booker to tweet his thoughts on D.C. Statehood.” And now we have them.
