Tickets cost $30, and there will be a cash bar. From 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., pasta, sliced meats, prosciutto and cheeses, veggies and more will be served. The final proper dinner service will happen on Sunday.
Dean Gold’s new restaurant, Dino’s Grotto, is expected to open before the end of April in a Shaw rowhouse at 1914 9th Street NW, the former Portico space. “The new establishment will serve approximately 120 people on two floors,” a release says. “The lower level will feature a large communal table alongside a 14 person bar, and table seating for 45. The 1st floor will also feature a 10 person bar and table seating for 50.”
