Canada beat the United States 1-0 in a hockey game played in Sochi today, so they’re going to compete for the gold medal and we’re not. The best America can hope for now is a bronze, which is still pretty good. Everyone should be OK with this, but some people probably won’t be.

Today’s loss also means that Good Stuff Eatery in Capitol Hill is giving away 100 orders of poutine. Go eat your feelings — for free! (Unless it’s gone. Then double disappointment.)
