DCision2014 is starting to get heated.

In two new TV ads released by Councilmember Tommy Wells’ campaign, a scrolling text atop some ’80s-sounding MIDI music poses a “quick D.C. Mayor quiz: This candidate benefitted from tens of thousands of dollars allies of Jeffrey Thompson, the man accused of running a $650,000 illegal D.C. campaign in 2010?” Was it A) Vincent Gray or B) Muriel Bowser? Both, the ad says.

And in a second ad, the same format with a different question: “How many of the major candidates for Mayor of D.C. have taken no money from Jeffrey Thompson and allies?” You guessed it, Tommy Wells.
