During this snowy winter, DCist has highlighted the work of Serve DC’s Citizen Snow Team, which assigns volunteers to shovel snow from around the property of seniors and people with disabilities.

While you can (and should!) still learn about how to join the Citizen Snow Team here, there’s another way to help. Snowcrew, built and operated by SeeClickFix, allows anyone to request shoveling and then seeks “Yetis” (who are actually people) to do it for them. Requests can be seen and made here.
