Via AWLA.Here’s a warm and fuzzy way to end your week: The cat found in Arlington with more than 60 BBs in his body, 20 of which are still in his head, was adopted today.
From the Animal Welfare League of Arlington’s Facebook page:
Our favorite kitty, Arrow, who recovered from having more than 60 BB pellets lodged in his body, went to his loving, forever home today. Arrow is completely blind from his trauma, but he is now in good health and should enjoy a long life in his new home. One of the many people touched by his story stepped forward to make sure that the rest of his life is safe and happy. We are so grateful to this kind adopter, all the people who expressed their concern for him, and for our wonderful supporters who make it possible to care for injured animals and transform their lives.
AWLA is asking anyone moved by the story to contribute to their CAT campaign.
ARLNow has an interview with Arrow’s new owner, Anne Hancock, who says “he’s a special fella.” And now we’re all crying.
