The Smithsonian’s National Zoo welcomed more baby animals recently, further solidifying its status as Cutest Zoo in America.
Animal care staff at the National Zoo’s Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, Va. celebrated the birth of three male Dama gazelle calves on February 18, 20, and 25.
A release states that “with less than 500 left in the wild, Dama gazelles are the rarest of all gazelles and are listed as critically endangered.” No word on if or when the Dama gazelle calves—which are native to parts of Africa—will be moved to the National Zoo’s Cheetah Conservation Station, but these adorable photos will suffice in the meantime.
