LAUNCH PARTY: The 22nd Environmental Film Festival In The Nation’s Capital begins next Tuesday, March 18, but kicks off with a Festival Launch Party in the Warner Building Atrium (1299 Pennsylvania Avenue NW) tonight. The event will include an open bar with cocktails by Alex Bookless (The Passenger) and Adam Bernbach (2 birds 1 stone), hors d’ouvres from area restaurants (including Restaurant Nora, Baked and Wired, Shake Shack, and more), a silent auction, and a variety of entertainment. 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $30.

BEER & BOOKS: Learn about Garrett Peck’s new book Capital Beer, drink Bluejacket brews, and tour the Heurich House Museum (1307 New Hampshire Avenue NW) at the Capital Beer Book Launch tonight. 6:30-8:30 p.m. $30.

IMPROV: See 73 teams made up of 214 improv performers participate in three-on-three bouts in the Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament (FIST) tonight and for the next five weeks at Source (1835 14th Street NW). Shows at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. $12-$20.

COMEDY: Enjoy a full evening of comedy at Bier Baron (1523 22nd Street NW) this evening, with two LYGO DC events: Bier for Dinner (6:30-8:30 p.m., $10) and Stand-Up at Bier Baron (8:30-10:30 p.m., free $10).
