Thanks to the late-season snow storm, several services by the Department of Public Works will be affected: Trash collection, street sweeping, and parking.
In order to properly prepare yourself for the change in service schedule, here’s what you need to know:
Parking: A.M./P.M. rush hour restrictions will be enforced, but residential parking permit restrictions and parking meters won’t be. The city has not declared a snow emergency, so parking along snow emergency routes is OK.
Trash/recycling pickup: Collection crews will make every effort to try to collect trash/recycling bins from the curbs of households, however they will not be collecting trash/recycling from alleys. They’ll collect trash/recycling on the next scheduled collection date.
Street sweeping: Scheduled street sweeping has been suspended for today and tomorrow.
That is all. You can now continue doing whatever snow day-related activities you do.
