The Metropolitan Police Department is searching for an 8-year-old girl who was staying at the city’s largest family homeless shelter and is asking for the public’s help to locate her.
Relisha Tenau Rudd was last seen in the 1900 block of Massachusetts Avenue SE and may be traveling in one of the two vehicles pictured below.
Relisha is described as a black female, 4’0” tall, weighs approximately 70 to 80 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, and has a medium complexion. She may be in need of medication.
A man who identified himself as the girl’s stepfather told WUSA9 that Relisha and her mother had been living at D.C. General for a year. Since March 8, Relisha had been staying with another man, the grandfather of a friend, the stepfather said.

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 8 year-old Relisha Rudd in a White 1976 GMC truck MD tag 305015. She may be traveling with Kahlil Malik Tatum and Rickie Sheridan Lyles.
