They’ll be serving up “Treme inspired take on the classic Hurricane! TUESDAY: Pair Texas beer with trivia at Ventnor Sports Cafe (2411 18th Street NW) this Tuesday. Spoetzl Brewery will be serving up seven brews, including “their flagship Shiner Bock,” and Say Know to Trivia will be asking the hard questions. The taps start flowing at 6 p.m., the trivia starts at 8 p.m.

WEDNESDAY: The Wonderland Circus brings comedians Abe Barth, Chris Blackwood, and Dana Fleitman along with burlesque artist Karamel Sutra and rock band Joe Rathbone and The Mercy Alliance to the Wonderland Ballroom (1101 Kenyon Street NW) this Wednesday. 8:30-10 p.m. Free ($5 suggested donation).

THURSDAY: The theme is “Sticky” at this Thursday’s Story League story contest at Busboys and Poets (2021 14th Street NW). Participating storytellers will have seven minutes to tell their true tale, for the chance to win $150. 9 -11 p.m.

FRIDAY: The Baltimore Rock Opera Society presents Gründlehämmer at the Torpedo Factory Art Center (105 N Union Street, Alexandria, VA) this Friday through Sunday. “A boy. A king. A monster. A mythical guitar to unite them.” 8 p.m. Tickets: $20.
